Dialog uses a credit-based billing system. Each plan includes a monthly credit allotment, plus different caps on agents and scheduled workflows. Every plan runs on the same frontier AI models — higher tiers give you more capacity, not smarter agents.

What’s a credit?

One credit is one task or research prompt sent to your agent. A single credit might pull Reddit discussions across five communities, scrape a competitor’s pricing page, and deliver a structured summary to your Telegram — all in one shot. You’re charged per execution, not per tool call or per channel, so multi-channel delivery doesn’t multiply your usage.

Checking your balance

Your credit balance is always visible in the sidebar footer (Credit Usage meter). For detailed usage info, open Settings > Billing & Usage to see:
  • Current plan and credits remaining
  • % of monthly quota used
  • Manage Payment Methods (opens Stripe)
  • Plan picker with Upgrade / Downgrade / Cancel actions inline

Managing your subscription

All plan changes happen inline on the Billing & Usage tab in Settings. Your current plan is labeled “Current Plan”, and every other plan card shows Upgrade or Downgrade (or Cancel Plan on your current tier). Click Manage Payment Methods to open Stripe for card updates, invoices, and receipts.

FAQ

You won’t be able to send new messages until you upgrade your plan or your monthly credits reset. Your existing sessions, workspaces, and agent data remain fully accessible.
It depends on your plan. Free plan credits don’t roll over and are capped at 25. Paid plans (Starter, Pro, Team) roll over unused credits to the next month indefinitely — they never expire as long as your subscription is active.
Yes. You can change plans at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and your existing credit balance carries over. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
You keep them. Your existing balance is preserved as bonus credits, and you receive your new plan’s full monthly allocation on top. For example, upgrading from Starter with 30 credits to Pro gives you 30 + 200 = 230 credits immediately.
Yes. Every Dialog plan runs on the same frontier models. We don’t downgrade intelligence based on your tier. You get the same capability at every level, just at different scale.
Paid plans are billed monthly starting from your subscription date. You can manage your payment method, view invoices, and download receipts from Settings > Billing & Usage > Manage Payment Methods.
You can cancel anytime from Settings > Billing & Usage. When you cancel, you’ll keep access to your current plan’s features until the end of your billing period, then your account will revert to the Free plan.
