Dialog uses a credit-based billing system. Each research query consumes credits based on the complexity and data sources used.

How credits work

  • Each research query uses a variable number of credits depending on:
    • The complexity of the question
    • How many data sources are consulted
    • The length of the AI analysis
  • Your current credit balance is displayed in the app header
  • You’ll receive a warning when your balance is running low

Checking your balance

Your credit balance is always visible in the top navigation bar. For detailed usage information, go to Settings to see:
  • Current credit balance
  • Subscription tier
  • Usage history
  • Billing details

Managing your subscription

Dialog integrates with Stripe for payment processing. From Settings, you can:
  • View your current plan and usage
  • Manage your subscription through the Stripe Customer Portal
  • Update payment methods and billing information
  • View invoices and payment history
Click Manage Subscription in Settings to open the Stripe Customer Portal, where you can update your plan, payment method, and billing details.

Need more credits?

If you’re running low on credits or need a higher tier, visit the subscription management page in Settings to upgrade your plan.
