Every conversation with your agent is automatically saved as a session, giving you a searchable history of all your research.
How sessions work
A session starts the moment you send your first message. From there, everything is handled automatically:
- Auto-save — Every message is saved immediately as it’s sent and received. No manual saving needed.
- Auto-generated titles — Dialog creates a descriptive title for each session based on the conversation content so you can find it later.
- Agent-specific — Each session belongs to the agent you were chatting with. Switch agents and you’ll see a different set of sessions in the sidebar.
Sharing sessions
You can share any session by generating a read-only link. Anyone with the link can view the full conversation without needing a Dialog account.
To share a session, open it and click the Share button. Copy the generated link and send it to colleagues, clients, or collaborators.
Shared links are read-only. Recipients can view the conversation but can’t modify it or continue the research.
Cross-device access
Your sessions sync across all devices where you’re logged in. Start a research thread on your laptop and pick it up on your phone — the full conversation history is always available.
Deleting sessions
Remove any session from the sidebar by selecting it and choosing Delete. Deleted sessions are permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
