# FAQ

> Frequently asked questions about Dialog

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="What data sources does Dialog use?">
    Dialog connects to 74+ tools across multiple categories: Reddit communities, web search and scraping, social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook), business intelligence sources, and connected apps you authorize (Gmail, Slack, Jira, Linear, Notion, Google Calendar, and more). Your agent automatically selects the right tools based on your query.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I save links and bookmarks?">
    Yes. Send any URL to your agent with "Save this for me" and it will scrape the page, extract key information, and file it in your workspace. You can organize saved content into research collections, competitive intel, bookmarks, or any structure that works for you. Everything is searchable across sessions.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can Dialog help me create content?">
    Yes. You can ideate content topics, have your agent draft posts (LinkedIn, blog, marketing copy), and iterate together until you're happy with the result. Many users build a content pipeline in their workspace where ideas are tracked from concept through drafting to publication.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How does task management work?">
    Tell your agent to add items to your task list conversationally -- "Add to my task list: review competitor pricing." Your agent tracks tasks in a TASKS.md file in your workspace, organized into Active, Backlog, and Completed sections. You can review, update, and check off tasks through natural conversation.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Is my data private?">
    Yes. Your research sessions, workspace files, and account data are private to your account. Each agent's workspace is isolated -- agents can't access each other's data. Sessions are stored securely and only accessible when you're authenticated.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I share my research with others?">
    Yes. Dialog supports session sharing, which generates a shareable link that others can view without needing an account.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How accurate are the results?">
    Dialog's research results are grounded in real data from actual sources. Every insight includes citations linking back to the original posts, comments, or web pages so you can verify the findings yourself. The AI synthesizes and summarizes but always references its sources.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What are agent personas?">
    Personas are configurable agent profiles optimized for different workflows. Every account starts with a default **Chief of Staff** agent. You can add more agents on higher plans -- presets like Social Media Manager and Product Analytics Agent, or a fully custom persona with your own instructions. Each persona is backed by a full agent with its own workspace and memory.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How many agents can I have?">
    Agent caps depend on your plan -- the Free and Starter tiers include 1 agent, Pro includes 5, and Team includes 15. See [Billing & Credits](/guides/billing-and-credits) for the full comparison. Agents are provisioned on first use, so you only consume resources for agents you're actively using.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Where can I receive results?">
    Results are available in the Dialog web app with real-time streaming. You can also connect delivery channels like Telegram and Slack to receive briefings and scheduled task results where you already work. Discord and WhatsApp are coming soon.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I use Dialog on mobile?">
    Yes. Dialog is a web application that works in any modern browser, including mobile browsers. Your sessions sync across all devices. You can also interact with your agents through messaging apps like Telegram.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What happens when I run out of credits?">
    When your credit balance reaches zero, you won't be able to submit new queries. You can still browse your existing sessions and workspace files. Visit Settings to upgrade your plan or purchase more credits.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How do I delete my account?">
    Contact support to request account deletion. All your sessions, workspace files, agents, and personal data will be permanently removed.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I export my research?">
    Research sessions are displayed in rich text format that you can copy and paste. Your workspace files (research notes, databases, task lists) are stored in standard formats (.md, .json, .csv, .db). Direct export features are on the roadmap.
