# Creating an Account

> Sign up for Dialog and configure your workspace

Getting started with Dialog takes less than a minute.

## Sign up

    Go to [app.dialog.tools](https://app.dialog.tools) and click **Get Started**.

  <Step title="Choose your sign-up method">
    You can create an account using:

    * **Magic link** - Receive a one-click login link via email
    * **GitHub** - Sign in with your GitHub account
    * **LinkedIn** - Sign in with your LinkedIn account
    * **Google** - Sign in with your Google account

  <Step title="Verify your email">
    Check your inbox for a verification email and confirm your account.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Start researching">
    Once verified, you'll land in your research workspace ready to ask your first question.

## Your workspace

After signing up, you get a personal workspace that includes:

* **Chat interface** - The main surface for talking to your agent
* **Agents** - Your default Chief of Staff agent with room to add more
* **Workspace files** - Persistent folders (`docs`, `research`, `skills`, `uploads`, `databases`) plus identity files (`PURPOSE.md`, `SOUL.md`, `TASKS.md`, `USER.md`)
* **Chats** - Your full session history, searchable in the sidebar
* **Settings** - Manage delivery channels, billing, and integrations

## Signing in on other devices

Dialog syncs your research across devices. Sign in with the same email on any browser to access your full session history and feeds.
